Ms. Done makes it her mission to provide students with a multitude of rigorous learning opportunities. In Ms. Done's classroom, observers will find students engaging in meaningful mathematical tasks, utilizing critical and creative thinking strategies, or participating in differentiated activities that meet the needs of diverse learners. Ms. Done is a relentless believer in high expectations for students regardless of their diverse needs. As her school’s math lead, Ms. Done implemented a parent session on productive struggle, coordinated the organization of resources, and collaborated with colleagues to provide needs-based professional learning. One colleague noted, “Ms. Done is always willing to help out when needed whether it is serving on a committee, playing in the staff basketball game, or opening her home for staff celebrations.”
